This offer is available to new customers who purchase a policy directly from SunLife. You’ll simply need to let them know that you’d like to receive this free welcome gift when you take out your policy.

As with the majority of gift cards we identified, you'll only qualify for the gift after paying your 6th monthly premium.

The Love2Shop gift cards will be sent to you in an email after confirming your 6th payment.

Love2Shop gift cards are accepted at over 150 retailers, including Argos, M&S and Boots.

Once a policy has been taken out, you’ll need to have retained the policy and made all necessary monthly payments for the 180 day qualifying period in order to benefit from this offer.

You’ll be contacted by post or email with an invitation to choose your gift. You can choose your gift at any time after receiving the invitation but no later than 365 days after your policy start date.

Once you have made your selection, the gift card should be with you within 28 days of the 180 day qualifying period. You won’t receive the gift card until you have made your selection.

If you cancel your policy within the first 30 days, you’ll be refunded any premiums you’ve paid but will no longer qualify for this gift.

You’ll be entitled to the £100 gift card regardless of how much your policy costs.

Once you have paid 6 months premiums, you’ll be contacted with details on how to make your gift card selection.

You’ll then have a further 6 months to claim your gift card. Any selection made after this time won’t qualify.

Direct Line over 50 life insurance is actually provided by AIG.

If you’ve previously taken out AIG life insurance, received a gift and then cancelled the policy, you won’t qualify.
