Where your data is held
Your personal data is held on secure servers operated by Reassured Limited and agencies contracted by us. We do not transfer your data outside the UK and we comply with the protection offered to you under the Data Protection Act 1998.
The information we collect
In order to provide you with a quote, we will collect certain information via our websites this will include personal details such as your name, date of birth, contact numbers, and details about the insurance policy you require a quote on; that and any other information we gather about you will help us to provide you with tailored quotes using our quote system.
We’ll keep your information and add it to our marketing databases even if you don’t take out a plan with us. We may use it to keep your records up to date, for business analysis and market research. We may also use it to let you know by post, phone, email and electronic methods about products and services we think may interest you.
We may also use some of your data with respected third parties such as Google and Facebook who perform marketing services on our behalf.
Calls to and from our offices may be recorded and/or monitored for training or customer services purposes.
We also use third-party website analytics tools, to collect details about click/touch, mouse movement, scroll, and keystroke behaviour.
Access to your information
You have the right to ask Reassured for a copy of the personal information we hold about you including call recordings.
If you would like access to your information, you must write to Reassured stating your data access request and enclosing a £10 fee for the processing of such request and to correct any inaccuracies in that information if needed.
Our newsletters will be used to keep you informed about our products and events. Our subscription lists will not be sold, rented or leased to any third-parties.
We use code within our newsletters to identify open rates and click through rates. This enables us to identify which individuals have opened the message or clicked on links within it and better tailor any follow-up communications.
You can remove yourself from the subscription lists at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link within the newsletter or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org stating “consent withdrawn”, please also confirm your postcode, name and DOB.
