Reassured, a leading life insurance broker is setting up its third office location in Portsmouth as part of its ambitious growth strategy, creating new job opportunities in Hampshire.
Reassured is one of the UK’s largest direct life insurance brokers, arranging policies for around 78,000 families a year and annually servicing some 260,000 people. Customer numbers have grown by 20% in the past year with profits up by 305% in the same period.
It is a growing business with excellent customer feedback. And it has big plans to become the most recognised, reliable and recommended life insurance broker in the UK.
Part of those big plans involved a relocation of the Reassured headquarters from Alton to Belvedere House in Basingstoke, earlier in 2017, which has now been followed by the launch of two further offices in Portsmouth and Manchester.
The current headcount at Reassured is 285 people. The new Portsmouth office, set to open on 30 October 2017, will be home to 40 staff initially, in addition to the 450 people that can be accommodated at Reassured’s Basingstoke HQ.
The firm also has plans to recruit a further 40 staff for its Portsmouth base over the coming six months, as the wider business continues to grow, making Reassured a significant employer in the Hampshire area.
Staff are rewarded heavily for strong performance at Reassured and as a result, the business has been nominated as a Sunday Times Top 100 Company to Work for the last three years in a row and is also currently in the shortlist for the Amazon Growing Business Awards 2017.

For the last 8 years, Hampshire has been home to Reassured. We set up here and we have grown pretty quickly from a team of 4 in 2009 to 285 now.
It’s our local staff that have made this a great business today and so the wider Hampshire area was the perfect fertile ground to set up a new office and Portsmouth felt like the ideal spot for us to expand. It has excellent transport links to both local towns and cities as well as London, which we hope will prove an attractive draw for the potential pool of employees in this area.
