Steve founded Reassured in 2009 when there were just 4 members of staff in a small office in Alton, selling non-advised protection over the phone.

Steve and co-founder Laura Benton (COO) identified a gap in the market for customers throughout the UK without life insurance who may be unaware of their own need for family protection.

Subsequently, the market grew and with a refined sales strategy in place, Reassured has grown to be the UK's largest life insurance broker* with over 700 employees.

Steve Marshall - Non Executive Director / Founder

Steve is the co-founder and former CEO of Reassured. Steve moved to a Non-Executive Director role in 2024. This entails contributing to the business and its strategy with specific focus on investments.

Steve also spends a considerable amount of time in each of our offices, connecting with the people of the business.
