Reassured receives Best Sales Team and Best Sales Employer

Reassured, the UK’s largest life insurance broker* was shortlisted for a total of five awards at the British Excellence in Sales Management Awards (BESMA) in November 2019:

The national awards, run by the Institute of Sales Management (ISM), were open to all British sales organisations and successful nominees were invited to present to a panel of judges ahead of the final shortlist for the Wembley Stadium event being announced.

On the evening, Reassured are proud to have scooped not just one, but two of these prestigious awards; Best Sales Team (over 50) of the Year for our Portsmouth office, and Best Sales Employer of the Year.

This is a notable achievement for Reassured; attributed to our incredibly motivated, driven and highly talented sales staff who continually strive towards exceptional customer service and smashing sales targets.

These awards demonstrate our commitment to the highest possible standards in sales. It is particularly gratifying to pick up accolades from the wider sales community, as opposed to inward-facing industry recognition.

We are dedicated to improving access to Protection across the UK and this achievement demonstrates that we are reaching beyond traditional channels in doing so.

Reassured’s unwavering investment in the training and development of sales staff, along with providing an ongoing rewarding environment, has seen higher engagement with staff and their own career progression.

This is reflected in outstanding sales performance and a high level of staff retention. This also means we are able to promote internally, with over 90% of our managers being home-grown.

Reassured delivered a well thought through presentation, practiced and delivered in the tight time and their authenticity was easy to see.

They had really gone to great lengths to open up about the things they’d got wrong, as well as just the good stuff.

They injected humour and something other than just static slides also stood out. The key though was the ‘how’ and ‘why’, not just the ‘what’.

It’s great to know they’ve grown. But why and how did they? We chose them because they were authentic.

You could see they really cared, and really wanted it and they had a great story to tell. They came as a group and showed togetherness in their presentation. Very personable and well prepared.

Starting out in 2009 with just four staff members, Reassured now employs over 1,000 staff across 9 sites, with plans for further expansion.

We have now protected over 1,000,000 families in the UK and we're proud to work in partnership with some of the biggest brands in the country, including Post Office and Sun Life.

The BESMA award wins open up further opportunities for new partnerships within the industry, attracting more talent in sales, an exciting prospect for the future of Reassured and our employees.
